WHAT WOULD YOU WEAR TODAY?
By Mariu

I first want to tell everyone that posted a comment that you make me really happy =)
To all of you that are wondering where do I get this images from, here are some of the sites I have been visiting lately:
- topshop
- asos.com
- shoplanetblue.com
- peeps.com
- mybagsvendor.com
This one is a basic v-neck t-shirt, great to make your chest look longer and slimmer; it is longer on the sides to give you that idea of elongated body because the cotton embraces your hips.
If you wear something baggy in your top, then your bottom should be more tight and viceversa. You should see what body parts you are most likely to stand out and which ones you want to make softer.

Lovely bag, comfortable and a colour that matches absolutely everything.

This coat is very chic, meaning that is elegant and the way it is made makes your neck less uncovered; you can add a scarve or a good pair of earings and that is all.
See that flat shoes can be as charming as heels sometimes? It all depends on how you compliment your clothes.

I recently got this perfume Pretty Nina by Nina Ricci, but the lady that sold it to me gave me the Eau de Toilette instead of the Eau de Parfum, so it seems that the scent of it is less concentrated and fixative, it does not last as much as the other one. Anyways, I like it for spring time since it is very fresh and fruity, but once I finish it I will start to look for another fragrance that has sandalwood or vanilla, which are my favourites and have a much stronger odour.

THAT WHICH MAKES YOU LOOK SPECIAL
By Mariu
Now we see them eeeeverywhere, in lots of magazines and that's because they really change your appearance but still make you look stylish and urban.
Nature can be represented in so many ways, and this necklaces make that statement 100% true; butterflies less or more abstract for example.
Big rings with your arms completely nude make your fingers stand out, so you'd better have your nails done and have your hands clean.
BELTS - when we talk about them we think of an item that somehow finishes your skirt or dress. If you want a formal and classical overall look, make sure to match your belt with your shoes ;)
BOTTOM'S
By Mariu
This outfit would be a good option to go to work; it is the simplicity of the pencil/straight skirt that I liked. Maybe red lips if you want a more sophisticated look.
I like everything on this skirt: the plaid, the fact that it is superposed and the diagonal folds.
The contrast makes it different and nice, but I would change the waist by using a belt.
Well, I will update with some belts and other accesories to make sure that all of this simple skirts have something that makes them look special.
Thanks to all of you that leave lovely comments and that follow me!!

BLING BLING BLING
By Mariu
I would like to make clear that what follows has definitely nothing to do with sparkling diamonds or great metals... it is just fantasy to open our eyes and escape from reality hehe (Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody).
I loooove this ones. You see, I like doing handmade objects like necklaces, but when it comes to materials such as these, I just gasp hoping to find an earing like this one... it is pretty complicated to create this stuff on your own or at least to achieve one that looks similar.
When I first gave a look at this wings I thought they were cute and dreamful. But, after staring at them for some minutes, I noticed that the material they are made of looked really chunky and cheap. Not to mention the fact that every time I see them it reminds me of the wings miss Nicole Ritchie has tattooed on her back =S
Attracted by the combination of colours and by hearts... they will always be lovely to me.
Very casual and adequate for a daytime look: not too shiny, neither too big.
Happy Sunday everyone and thanks to my 4 followers ;)

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
By Mariu
Since I have not been going out lately, I found my way to rejoice by choosing which dresses I would wear to hit out the city... hehe that sounded corny right?
Anyways, I have the tendency of wearing bright clothes, even though I try to find an equilibrium by complementing them with very simple accesories, purse and shoes.

Nº 1
Nº 2 - Very delicate, I would wear it with an important pair of golden earings and I would definitely try to find my way to get some tan.

Nº 3 - Vanessa Hudgens wore this one at a premiere, but I must say I liked it before she was pictured in it. It seems very comfortable.

Nº 4 - I am not a huge fan of leggins, but I think this girl makes that dress and those leggins look like a great duo. I was trapped by the movement of the print, it actually continues on the back... just lovely.
Nº 5 - I imagine this dress on Victoria Beckham and I inmediatelly see how her hair and make up would be: very neat and tidy, pulled backwards with smokey eyes, as usual. But this girl kept it very simple both on the hair and make up and still looks stunning, at least to me. Very refreshing to see how such a gorgeous mini-dress can be exposed that good.
Nº 6 - It goes either with sandals or with heels and I would rather style my hair with an up do but with a black bow.
Nº 7 - This one is more formal and I love its texture.

Nº 8 - One of my favourites, probably because the light fabric has a nice movement and falls in a descrete peak.
Nº 9 - I like how the models' hairstyle matches the dress, but I'm not so sure neither about the belt nor the heels. This electric blue suits brunettes and blondes, and I like it even more because the fabric is not shinny.

Scarves and wraps!!
So, this is not the first time I get obsessed about items like these.
I am fond of Indian silk wraps and prints, basically because they have a huuuuge variety of colours.

The ones I like the most is the first one and the one with the pompons. I have been viewing gosh so many websites including forever21, topshop, net a porter and I wanted to buy them all =S

BLUSH: 5 FACTS ABOUT IT
by Mariu
When it comes to blushes, the right application is the one that will give the natural look.
To start with you'll need to place your middle and index fingers vertically beside the nose; the uncovered cheek part is where you should be applying it.
The very well-known powder blush - it wakens up your complexion. The best way to apply it is to do it with circular motions on the apple of your cheeks, you can do this by smiling.
This mousse glace is perfect to highlight the top of your cheeks, just apply gently and you'll get a golden sutil gleam that stands out your skin. Good for summer!

Cream blush - I use this for wedding specially because it stays for much more time, and you don't want to kiss so many guests and end up with no blush on ;)
Apply it before the pressed powder and after this one put on some powder blush.
The Multiple by Nars - I actually do not have this one, but still believe it is great for women who don't like to carry too much make up on their purses. You can use it as a blush, as a lipstick and as an eye shadow... 3 in 1, good!

Sculpt and shape fabulous - I totally love this item considering I have a round face. I just suck in my cheeks and apply it brushing upwards, with an angle brush. The lighter color is to accentuate, so for more cheekbones simply highlight your natural bone structure.
TIP: for broad noses try applying the darkest brown at the sides and blend in.
